I think the upgraded attempted murder charges are newsworthy.
Not sure whether the charge is provable, but it is new information.

Wanna bet this goes away pretty quickly? At least with a minimum of legal penalties?
The worst thing provable here is the pepper spray. You really can't easily make a kidnapping case out of this, only stalking/harrassing/threatening, etc. This is the kind of crap that people routinely get six months for, given that she's a female, and a mother of three, to boot, I bet she winds up with probation only. Her attorney is going to make the case that she's suffered enough already with being kicked out of the astronaut corps.

Sure, they count, but we post new threads about ongoing subjects all the time.
Otherwise, there would only be one Rudy thread, one Super Bowl commercial thread, one thread about developments at the NYSE, etc.
