WIND Radio 6:45 am this morning - Woman in Naperville said those opposing this seem to be getting their property taxes raised. Federally funded home for illegal Mexican.

He makes a good point about the purpose of the zoning laws, although I expect government entities would argue that the stipulating is their perogative and not the community's!
Nice tagline, Paloma! ;o)

"It seems to be a moving target," Ruiz said. "I would be surmising here, but it seems that they just don't want us there. And that makes me sad. If we knew that their concerns were real and legitimate that would be different."
They have no legitimate reason to oppose illegals next door. They also have no legitimate concern over enforcement of our immigration laws according to senior POS here.

" no legitimate reason to oppose illegals next door. "
Have you experienced illegals invading [correct term] your neighborhoods? Changing almost overnight to look like a barrio?
That's 'legitimate reason' enough to oppose them 'next door' in addition to and apart from the fact that
[psst, being here is against the law!]

I'd be interested to know the age range of these "children". It seems to me that they have to be at least teen agers to have gotten here alone.
There's a big difference between having a home for orphaned infants and toddlers--and teen-agers, especially older teens.

I thought my sarcasm was implied when I added 'according to senior POS here.'

I've only had the one cup of coffee. I got that sarcasm, I just [mistakenly] thought that you and I agreed about the illegality of their being here, but differed on the humanity of it.
Oh, the humanity.

Question:
If the owner of the property in question wants to convert the space to such a home, who the hell are the other land owners to tell him what to do with his property? Zoning changes happen all the time -- for multitudes of reasons.

Zoning changes often require assessment. If your neighbor wanted to put a strip club next door there would probably be a hearing.

Question:
What should we do about the NWO socialists marxists who have taken over the government and our pocket books and are ramming it down people's throats in the name of brotherly love.

The latest telephone poll taken by the Office of the Governor of Arizona asked whether people who live in Arizona think illegal immigration is a serious problem:
A) 35% of respondents answered: "Yes, it is a serious problem."
B) 65% of respondents answered: "No es una problema serio."

A gang of folks who are breaking everything that is working as quickly and calmly as they possibly can so they can remake it into their beloved mega beast - and mocking, belittling, ostracizing, strong arming and worse all their opposition. How's that for an answer?

...into a first-of-its-kind shelter for undocumented Indian and Chinese children hit a snag... This is an outright lie. Its all for hispanics.
I grew up in Naperville. I know they don't want to be Aurora.
