Nasa biographies list Capt Nowak as married with three children... That's one selfish, sick, pathetic woman. Looks like NASA's psycho-screeners were asleep the day she walked through their offices...

One example of how jealousy can make you sick, ugly and crazy.

Police say astronaut Lisa Nowak drove 900 miles wearing diapers so she wouldn't have to stop to go to bathroom before confronting suspected romantic rival. now that's really sick.
This incident could be the subject of an interesting study: the effect of space travel on latent psychoses.

She was smart enough to wear a disguise, bring knife, rope, pepper spray, fake rifle, rubber hose, and wear diapers to avoid stops so she wouldn't be recognized on the way.
She's smart enough to say she didn't intend to harm the other woman. It's pretty clear she intended to kill her.

A woman who is used to getting what she wants with an ego that needed feeding.
She was obviously obsessed with getting what she wanted. What I found interesting is that she categorized it as "more than a working relationship but less than a romantic relationship".
That is the description of a friendship, not a love affair. Sounds like a fatal attraction to me. Scary woman.
