Does it really matter, he "volunteered" for military duty, knowing he 'might' have to go to war. Oh, if it was Bill clinton's war, that would be different. Remember Bosnia?

Fidell wasn't surprised, however, that the government rejected a deal offered by Seitz that would have had Watada serve only three months confinement with a dishonorable discharge. Enlisted men get discharged. Officers get dismissed.

I remember Madeleine Halfbright and SecDef Cohen and possibly Sandy Burglar going to Ohio State University for a townhall meeting with the students and getting totally reemed by the nascent moonbat movement. It was a sight to behold. Of course the Dinosaur Media deep-sixed the video immediately.

Wouldn't he be going to a federal prison? I thought those weren't so bad.

He'll go to a Military Prison. Ft Leavenworth to be exact. The worst of the worst are sent there. Oh,.. they get to repair shoes, fix furniture, cut firewood, mow lawns, bag groceries at the commissary, if they are good boys and not violent criminals but, military prisoners universally HATE OFFICERS in the Prison that are behind the bars and in a cell. Like putting a COP in Prison. Not good for them.

OK, thanks. I think I know a lot of the federal prisons are where white collar criminals go, but this is apparently much worse.

Yep, his father is a raging leftist. The Lt. was used by his father to progress his cause.
The Lt. cannot use this as a defense though. He was completely complacent and knew what he was getting into.

This is where the NAZI spies in WWII were Hanged and those that committed Murder go.
Oh heard today that Watada's defense attorney really endeared himself to the Military Judge today by insulting the Court and calling it a ridiculous sham. The Judge told Counsel for the Defense to leave the theatrics at the door.
Grab the popcorn cause this dummy is gonna do it again and get a contempt of court citation and could well end up (I HOPE) cooling his heels in the Detention Cell on Ft Lewis plus losing a chunk of change from his wallet with antics like that.
Pass the Popcorn Please.

Agree. This shows liberalism is hereditary and insidious.
