WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush praised the patriotism of Democrats, even as the Congress, now led by Democrats, largely opposed his new strategy for Iraq. "We share a common goal, and that is to keep America safe," the president said in remarks to a House of Representatives Democratic conference in Williamsburg, Virginia. "You know, I welcome debate in a time of war, and I hope you know that," he said, adding that he does not believe "that if you don't happen to agree with me you don't share the same sense of patriotism I do. You can...
With his first words, he sought to put to rest one bone of contention between the White House and the new congressional majority: The dropped "ic."
Democrats found it demeaning when the president, in his State of the Union address last month, referred to the "Democrat majority," as opposed to the "Democratic majority."
Looks like the AP photographer caught Ms. Pelosi in half blink there.
The 'Republic' Party is true or should be.
The only division is that the Democrats want to destroy every act of the Jews....I mean the republicans.
Bush is playing a nice game of poker. This has got ot be more fun, and probably more productive politically, that when the Republicans futzed around in Congress scratching their crotches.

Bush wants to see the U.S. fail too?
Newbie troll.
They look guilty as sin those two, contemplating their real agenda against the president.
a little Reagan voodoo? embrace your enemies.. mingle amongst them. It is a thankless job sometimes. He has a far stronger tummy than I or his Dad. ;-)
We'll see what comes of the latest 'Rodney King surge' to win favor with the dems, just one more tool of the enemy within, all to keep funding for fighting enemies abroad ..

He's just making fools out of them.
Saw a bumper sticker on some Dems car in San Antonio, TX: "Enough is Enough!" "Had enough? Vote Democrat(ic)". Enough of what? Good economy? Good housing market? Good tax breaks? Roaring business? No, I HAVEN'T had enough of those things yet. Like most of you, all I see in the future are more taxes, more government control (and it's bad enough under our RINOs), an assault on our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights as soon as they can; the fast track to Socialism--or worse--by whatever name.
It's time to stand up like men (those of us that are male) and give it right back in their face. I have a few times, it's fun and very good for your state of mind...

Dhimmitude.
It's all about photo ops.. I'm enjoying the heck out of the pics myself.. ;-)
It can never be said he did not at least go to their camp in good faith, humble himself and seek their support in a straightforward manner..
