Rudy is winning Ohio, and that has a lot of Family Rearsearch Council types worried.

I long have considere Pat Robinson to be unbalanced. Another black mark against Rino Rudy.

Note that Family Research Council's Tony Perkins finds Giuliani "unacceptable," and plans to take him out if he shows strength.

Jeez! Is the FRC turning into the Sopranos?

Lets hear what Rudy has to say in the primaries on these issues.

He's already DEMONSTRATED what he thinks, which is way more useful in evaluating politicians than what they "say" stump speeches.

Close but no cigar (/sarc). Not even a tossup.

Absolutely correct. I have said for the mast couple of years that Rudy should have ran for Senator or Governor in NY in 2006. He could well have won either; he will not be president. He may well split the party and help elect Hillary. I'm not saying Rudy is a bad guy - I'm just saying, for better or worse, he is NOT what the Republican base wants. Again, he could have done NY a lot of good.

that has become increasingly dependent on and influenced by conservative Christians

As if every single President in our history wasn't completely required to present himself as a Bible believing Christian. (Including Thomas Jefferson)

Exactly... but don't expect others to understand or accept that.

Can the thrice-married New Yorker — a supporter of abortion rights, gay rights and gun control — win the nomination of a Republican Party...

Yes!

Can he be elected? Maybe

Will he get my vote? NO!

Before I get flamed, I believe it is far better to keep your enemy outside your camp than within. That is why I didn't vote for Kay Baily Hutchison in the last election.

By then the only candidate left standing will be the Town Manager of Drycrust Montana!

And probably the most qualified...;)

The bottom line is not letting Hillary in the White House, and if Rudy gives us the best chance to avoid that, we are just going to have to play the hand we've been dealt. I don't like it, but there it is.
