Well, we would disagree here, and I could point to examples to make my point. (It might be suffice to review the "legal" child porn examples I gave in my last post to Yo-Yo). I would say those photos constituted a "clear-cut moral boundary" that's been crossed; I guess you might say that because the photographer who took those pictures would disagree w/me that we have no "clear-cut moral boundaries."

I addressed that issue in the sentence you failed to copy in my response to you when I spoke of the "core."

Therefore, if I feel a fatherless child or an orphan in our community is at risk to corporate predators willing to make a buck off of exploiting those who have little of the parental guidance you mention, then we need to run a little interference on their behalf.

I don't disagree, and as such I have stated repeatedly I have no problem with such organizations as the one in the article posted doing what they are doing. My point is I am not some depraved immoral entity if I disagree, which is often the thrust of the majority of these type threads.

My husband and I are the parents of an 8 year old, we monitor a lot of different things beyond what she reads, watches on TV or sees online and Walmart marketting objectionable material toward teens is not something that has appeared on our radar screens, and yes we pay attention to marketting upto the late teen level as she is well above her age group reading level and so we must pay attention.
