"...Baldwinsville were given an assignment to create a poster about the environment."

What better way then to show what he believes created the environment.

Put the kids name on it along with the 1st Amendment highlighting "... or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;...".

I'm glad that I'm not working for that school district. Frankly, I have a full plate teaching bored teenagers proper spelling and grammar, and if one of my students wants to invoke Jesus and God in his or her writing and reading, I don't have a problem. I have to wonder what kind of a control freak would feel obliged to "hide" a figure that might look like Jesus in a kid's picture. The teacher deserves to be fired (yeah, yeah, yeah, next to impossible because of tenure... you don't have to tell me tenure is a travesty... I see it all the time...)

It's frustrating to have fools like the ones in this school district make the rest of us look like we're cut from the same cloth.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

Establishing enforced secularism as the state religion violates both the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause.

Had it been a picture of Muhammad, you can bet it wouldn't have been censored 'for fear of offending muslims"

Had it been a picture of "Muhammad", the muslims would have been offended BY ITS DISPLAY and the school may have been burnt to the ground.

Matt Staver and the Liberty Counsel do good work. They defend your right to religious expression and will take on cases for free.

The web site is: www/lc.org

"Teacher Susan Weichert and Principal Robert Creme, who testified Monday, objected to the poster because they said it promoted one religion over another and could offend others."

The school promotes no religion over some religion. Some of us are offended by that. So will the principle resign??

"Mordue again dismissed the case in August 2004 after ruling the discovery process produced no new evidence that would cause him to rule differently."

I smell a rotten judge

Another law and order republican that thinks the rules do not apply to him. Soooo typical.

Again! You let me know when I'm posting nothing but:

Buy such and such http ://****.com

Cheap records at: http: //****.com

for great prices check out http: //****.com

Get hoodia cheap at : http: //****.com

Slim Quick on the cheap at http: //****.com

Until then, if you don't care to click on a clearly marked signature link- then don't, but do please quit with the obsession over it if possible. If it bothers ya that much then petition the folks at FR to include clickable signature links in the signature section- EVERY other site allows signature links and CLEARLY don't concider it to be 'advertising, solictiations, spam or any other commercial messages' as the ones I posted above are.
