The Repub spokeswoman was stunned. Her mouth was moving but no sounds were coming out.

The guy, the Dem operative, had that look of evil- triumphant on his face.

I was shouting at the tv. It was so blatant. The Repub was in shock.

Really, really bad people, liars. But for them, the agenda is everything. To be seen as a liar in the service of the Left is no dishonour to them.

Well said. Note that not only did she have no memory of the June 23 meeting for a long period afterwards, she had no memory of taking notes all through June and July in notebooks that surely should have been consulted before giving testimony before the Grand Jury!!

I haven't seen people focus on THAT point yet - that this supposedly "note driven" reporter, who must depend upon her notes to "recollect" everything about certain meetings and interviews, went a very long period of time apparently not knowing that she had important contemporaneous notes she had not even consulted!!

How can a jury think any of these witnesses are reliable when their memories are so selective, partial, incomplete.... maybe even biased??

Yes, in the very period during which Judith Miller is supposed to be the MSM's reigning WMD expert, she gets the phone number and extension for the guy at the center of the emerging new story on Iraq and uranium.... the guy who has twice been written about (though not by name) by her NY Times colleague Nicholas Kristof, as well as Walter Pincus of WaPo...... and she has no idea how she got that number, who she talked to, etc..... and she, the great intrepid reporter, did not even bother to phone Joe Wilson in the WEEKS before Robert Novak wrote his column??

Her testimony does not pass the laugh test.

“You had in your notes the name Joe Wilson,” Jeffress said. “You had his phone number. You had his extension. So who did you talk to about Joe Wilson?”

“I don’t remember who I talked to about Joe Wilson.”

“Do you remember talking to Joe Wilson?”

“I don’t believe I did.”

Since she lost her job at the NYT, I wonder where she is getting her walking around money....

The Repub spokeswoman was stunned. Her mouth was moving but no sounds were coming out.

It is possible that she was actually speaking but her microphone had been cut off. The left will stop at nothing.

A talk show caller (before the election) was discussing voter fraud. He said that he was a "bottom line type of guy" and didn't care how he won. He was, of course, for the Dems.

Jeffress takes everybody back to the original conspiracy with this one when he asks: "Do you remember talking to Joe Wilson?”

Looks like Joe is going to have to be called to testify to substantiate Miller's statement that: "I don’t believe I did."

Seems to me Fitzgerald got skunked on that one.

Think conspiracy, which involves Miller as at least a witness if not a participant, led by Valerie Plame and her laptdog husband Joe Wilson.

There are probably others.

Perhaps Libby's lawyers will learn who gave Miller Wilson's name, phone, extension, in their cross examination of other witnesses. Maybe Joe Wilson.
