In Maine the governor did exactly this for the government unions, a big bribe for votes.

I never thought that it was fair to force workers to contribute to all union causes.

It might somehow be legal, but it is real wrong.

There should be a way to opt-out of union mandated projects.

Can unions force workers to contribute money to causes they object to: like if some of the dues goes to abortion on demand programs ?

If recent cases are any indication, ultimately no but it might take years of hard fighting to be able to exercise your right to say no.

Not that this is news, but the unions spend tons of cash on political campaigns and donate untold hours of 'free' labor in getting the DUmmie vote out.

The democrat party is very dependent on these union bosses.
