OMG, what a complete buffoon. SHOW ME IN THE CONSTITUTION WHERE THE ROLE OF COMMANDER IN CHIEF IS SHARED WITH THE 535 POLITICAL HACKS OF THE US SENATE AND CONGRESS YOU COMPLETE CLOWN OF A MAN!!! Or are you reading Scottish common law again you moron?!
"W" campaigned for him and other RINOs instead of supporting conservatives. Now he's getting bit in the butt for rejecting the conservative base.
Absolutely amazing. Losing Lincoln Chaffee in the last election was great. Its too bad the demos didn't bag Specter's seat as well.
ASHINGTON -- U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter today called on President Bush to forge an agreement with Congress on "sharing power" on the Iraq war, just as the Senate prepares to debate resolutions opposing the president's plans to send additional troops.
I hope the President is getting his money's worth. He could've had a conservative instead.
I'm in favor of that. Send Specter, Biden, Clinton, Hagel, Snow, and Kerry to Iraq to command the troops. We need them to share the responsibility.
Pardon me while I barf up a lung.

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLL

I feel better now, thanks.
Arlen, go tilt at windmills, you will get more out of it, trust me.
And somewhere in Pennsylvania, Pat Toomey is screaming at his monitor, "I TOLD YOU, MR. PRESIDENT! BUT WOULD YOU LISTEN TO ME?!? NOOOOOOO!!"

Is this the same Spectre that Bush saved in his last Senate race? /s
It must be from Scottish law.
I wish he'd just shut his "Joe Hole" (a reference to Biden)
Maybe I should mail Arlen my copy of United States Government 101!
I didn't realize re-writing the constitution was so easy..maybe the congress could arrange to live and work in the White House as well..on a rotating basis..all 535 members..
Mmmmhmmm, yeah sure he has. What an idiot.
Live with yours. (Pssst: You have no choice in the matter).
Fine. Now, Congress, how about letting the President write some of his own laws.
There is a very old saying "No man can serve two Masters and give all their loyalty to both."
Why should our Commander-In-Chief have to even consider such a move?
Look very carefully at this people, you are seeing the beginning of the end of the United States that we have known all our lives, the end of the Country that so many of our people have shed their blood for.
I always suspected it would happen in my lifetime, I just prayed I was wrong.
I think the chemo fried more than the cancer; it friend his brain, too.
Doesn't Specter have more important things to do? Like investigating steroid use in the NFL?
