"W" campaigned for him and other RINOs instead of supporting conservatives. Now he's getting bit in the butt for rejecting the conservative base.

Absolutely amazing. Losing Lincoln Chaffee in the last election was great. Its too bad the demos didn't bag Specter's seat as well.

ASHINGTON -- U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter today called on President Bush to forge an agreement with Congress on "sharing power" on the Iraq war, just as the Senate prepares to debate resolutions opposing the president's plans to send additional troops.

I hope the President is getting his money's worth. He could've had a conservative instead.

I'm in favor of that. Send Specter, Biden, Clinton, Hagel, Snow, and Kerry to Iraq to command the troops. We need them to share the responsibility.

It must be from Scottish law.

I wish he'd just shut his "Joe Hole" (a reference to Biden)

I didn't realize re-writing the constitution was so easy..maybe the congress could arrange to live and work in the White House as well..on a rotating basis..all 535 members..

First we've got to see if we can work out with the president an agreement on sharing power. He has shown signs of being willing to do that

Mmmmhmmm, yeah sure he has. What an idiot.

Fine. Now, Congress, how about letting the President write some of his own laws.

There is a very old saying "No man can serve two Masters and give all their loyalty to both."

Why should our Commander-In-Chief have to even consider such a move?

Look very carefully at this people, you are seeing the beginning of the end of the United States that we have known all our lives, the end of the Country that so many of our people have shed their blood for.

I always suspected it would happen in my lifetime, I just prayed I was wrong.

Doesn't Specter have more important things to do? Like investigating steroid use in the NFL?
