I know, I know...he's said he is not a candidate.
But people do change their minds. And if the GOP came to him and said "for the good of the country and the party"; we need you!
And I know his health is an issue but he's in better health than JFK & FDR. And I know his age may be an issue but he' younger than RR was when he was elected POTUS.

I just don't see anyone out there better qualified.

"Authorities later discovered that a passenger on the aircraft's preceding leg was Ramzi Yousef, a master Al-Qaeda bomber and terrorist. He was later convicted of the World Trade Center bombing. Yousef boarded the flight under the assumed name of Armaldo Forlani.

Yousef assembled a bomb in the lavatory and stuck it under Seat 26K on the right-hand side of the fuselage, setting the timer to explode the device four hours later. He and 25 other passengers left the plane at Cebu.

Two hours before arrival at Tokyo, the bomb exploded at 11:43 P.M. while Flight 434 was 31,000 feet above Minami Daito Island, which is located nearby Okinawa and is 260 miles (420 km) southwest of Tokyo.

The explosion ripped the body of 24-year old Haruki Ikegami, a Japanese businessman occupying the seat, in half. He was an industrial sewing machine maker returning from a trip to Cebu. Flight attendants covered him with a blanket. Ten passengers sitting in front of Ikegami were also injured. The bomb tore out a two square foot (0.2 m²) portion of the cabin floor, revealing the cargo hold underneath, but the fuselage of the plane stayed intact.

The Boeing 747-283B, tail number EI-BWF, made an emergency landing in Naha Airport, Okinawa, one hour after the bomb exploded. When the control columns stopped functioning normally, the crew turned to steering via throttle control, reminiscent of United Airlines Flight 232. The aircraft's other 272 passengers and 20 crew members survived.

The seat where the bomb exploded (seat 26K) would normally be above the center wing fuel tank on a Boeing 747 but on this particular model of 747 the tank was located slightly further back. Seat 26K was just one row in front of the tank."

This was in 1994, flight 800 was in July 1996, Yousef was captured in Sept 1996.

I think there are a LOT of people who have not read this kind of information. There was a lot going on in the 1990s that very few people knew about then, and that evem less poeple know about now. I remember standing in our living room on 9-11 and telling my wife, "you know this means we will be going to Iraq." Think about how sucessful the Clinton coverup has been as evidenced by the many people that believe Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism in the US. I wouldn't be too surprised that the Navy shoot down of flight 800 is a diversion created by those interested in keeping the true nature of the incident covered up. They know many will cobb on to any kind of a story without doing any reaserch or thinking.

UNREAL!! I knew about a lot of the Clintonista scumbags described here, but I did NOT know that Lee Hamilton had associated himself (for big bucks, I'm sure) with the execrable fools at Stonebridge International. So Sandy Burglar commits felonies to undermine/obstruct the work of the 9/11 Omission-Commission, Lee Hamilton as co-chair of the non-investigation makes sure that the CLintonistas are protected, and now Lee Hamilton gets his reward. Before now I'd only regarded Gorelicker and Ben Veniste as the most completely corrupt and depraved members of the commission, but now Lee Hamilton falls right into that group, too.

And I agree with you both as well. The Navy could not have kept a secret of this magnitude. I believe a bomb took down TWA800 based on the following comments.

The first comment, by George Stephanopoulous, I heard live on 9-11-01 in my office shortly after the planes hit the World Trade Centers. Close to panic, speaking quickly and off the cuff, and referring to the situation room at the White House, Stephanopoulous said:

"In my time at the White House it was used in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing, in the aftermath of the TWA Flight 800 bombing, and that would be the way they would stay in contact through the afternoon."

The second set of comments were by John Kerry:

Appearing on "Larry King Live" on Sept. 11 of this year, Kerry suggested that TWA Flight 800 was brought down by a terrorist act. The second admission took place on Sept. 24 on "Hardball" with Chris Matthews. On this occasion, Kerry casually recited a number of terrorist attacks against the United States, among them TWA "Flight 800."

Kelly, you know I'm with you on this one. We need someone who knows how to fight dirty; someone with the guts to face the Clinton slime machine and laugh in their faces. Someone who's not afraid of an FBI file or shiver, shiver Ft. Marcy Park. They can't destroy Cheney; he's been around way too long. He'd send her majesty packing so fast she wouldn't know what hit her.
