Do you think that most politicians do any work? Not any that produces anything of value.

Most of the left will cover this up.
But the Hillary slime team will be happy if it gets out.

He can't help that his mother was a marxist kook. But the fact remains that she was, and her marxist politics rubbed off on her son. Yep.

OH, I had read that his mother didn't go to church. I didn't know all that about Unitarians. But in any event, can you tell me how one becomes a Muslim without actively doing something on their own part. That's what we don't know about Obama - if he ever chose Islam. He was indisputably presented with it as an option though.
And how do you know his mother directed him to choose a religion?
One of Obama's memoirs mentions that his house had the holy books of four or five different religions when he was a child. Unitarians do this, and they encourage their kids to read them all as if they are coequal texts. You'll have to trust me on this, but for better or for worse I've known several Unitarian flower child types cast from the exact same mould as Ann Dunham. I've seen it before many times, I've known people who raise their kids that way, and I've known people who were raised that way and encouraged to pick between the different "muliticultural" religions. It's simply what Unitarians do.
And, was this brother Roy a full brother? I am of the impression that he is a half brother by Obama's Kenyan father, and was not raised with Obama, which makes me think he wouldn't have been exposed to Obama's mother's beliefs about religion.
You may be right on that. The brother Roy was his half brother. I think Roy came along with Barack Sr. to the United States sometime in the 60's.
Obama Jr. was born in 1961. He got towed around the south pacific by his hippie mother until 1972, when she dumped him with her parents in Hawaii until he graduated high school in 1979. Ann Dunham's parents were kooky Unitarians too though, so it didn't improve the situation any.
I've never seen anything to substantiate Obama's mother's "recurring attractions to muslim deadbeats on student visas from third worlds".
Ann Dunham married at least two muslims on student visas when in college - Obama's father from Africa and his stepfather from Indonesia.
It sounds like his father had already renounced Islam when she met him, and it also sounds like Obama's father came from a well to do family.
That's only what is claimed now. Obama's paternal grandfather was apparently a devout muslim fundamentalist, and his father gave Obama Islamic names. Those two facts alone make him a highly unlikely candidate to renounce Islam. I don't know how well off Obama Sr.'s family was, but I do know it was a VERY screwed up family. Obama Sr. was a polygamist (something that is common and accepted in many parts of the Islamic world) who took at least four different "wives," two of them Kenyan and two U.S. students. He was not divorced from his first wife back in Kenya when he married Dunham in Hawaii. He abandoned her (no divorce is mentioned in any of the accounts) and married another student at Harvard, who also bore him kids. Then he returned to Kenya, had another kid with his original first wife, and had another kid with wife #4, also Kenyan.

He became a Christian at about the same time he became a poly sci major in college. His religious thoughts seem to change with his political aspirations. He knew he could not be elected as a muslim so he changed.
I believe he would have just as much commitment to the citizens of this country as he did to Islam. Things would be fine until we became "in the way" of his ambitions.

To most Americans, being a muslim is like being named Adolph.

OK. Let me get this right.
Being Muslim, suspected Muslim or former Muslim is baggage for Obama as President.
But, TSA does contortions to avoid "offending" Muslims by even blinking at them when going through security. (Potential lawsuit nothwithstanding.)
My conclusion is that all is fair in a knock-down-drag-out Presidential Primary (for Power), and the safety of the masses be damned.

I would wonder if he has ever been exposed to American cultural traditions or if he would understand these traditions: He made a big thing about visiting Kenya, his
Father's country. But what is his attitude about his Mother's country? All I know is, his voting record is very liberal.
To: upcountryhorseman
It sure is. As a committee chair in the IL House, he blocked legislation to stop the practice of murdering babies who had miraculously survived the abortionists' murder attempts. They were doing things like sticking these kids on a shelf in a closet until they died from lack of care. No kidding.

Is that why so many of them are on some type of government assistance including for mental illness?! If you don't believe me go over to DU where they discuss it.
It's scary over there, but I would like to compile some of those quotes!

Hopefully, the libmedia will do such a hitjob on him and his background that he will be unelectable in '08 or ever again. If it looks like he might beat Hitlery, there's always the Arkancide option. And something about him just screams "womanizer". Every time I see him, it just pops into my mind, just like it did with Xlinton. My bad, for a while I thought Xlinton was going to stop after he was caught.
I was initially staggered that the GOP would consider running a Mormon for president (but at least realized that a conservative Mormon would be someone I could vote for but Romney isn't a conservative). I now could see myself voting for a genuine conservative Mormon from Utah. Utah has a better record of resisting federal intrusion now than any other state, a title once held by New Hampshire. But running some Osamabama Hussein with no political record at all and with that kind of family and religious background? Yeow!
Given how his family takes up and discards religions like they're hobbies, who's to say he won't go Muslim in the White House and institute sharia law? His family has a history of this kind of ignorant and anti-Western instability (animism, atheism, Islam, etc.).
I don't consider Obama to be an actual American. We have many longtime immigrants who are far more American than he is.

Heck, even Dennis "the elf" Kucinich has better (Dhimmicrat) credentials than osama!
Actually, if he was smoother and better groomed, Kucinich would be a strong contender. He actually represents the core Dim values openly and honestly. He's a liberal kook but not a dishonest one like the other Dims.
