What I just don't get is -- if this interference by Iran and Syria is true (agents of theirs actually killing U.S. troops) -- why isn't this treated as an act of war? What ever happened to our policy -- stated in that post-9/11 State of the Union -- of treating any terrorist attack by a proxy as an attack on us by the source?
