Did anyone else see the show?Didn't see it and your excerpt is exactly why I won't watch NBC, truth doesn't get in the way of a way to bash President Bush.

"We are full of hope. We have no other choice but to use force and any place where we receive fire will not be safe even if it is a school, a mosque, a political party office or home," he said. "There will be no safe place in Iraq for terrorists." WOW! Thanks for posting PM Maliki's statement!!!

You have to wonder what the pathetic always whining think they accomplish shooting their own in the back all time?
Ever notice how these gutless wonders have to desperately twist and turn on EVERY thread to find SOME way to avoid actually attacking the Democrats on ANYTHING?
Hey Whiners, GET OFF OUR SIDE. You are actively working for the Democrats by spending all your time shooting our own in the back. Simply quit lying that you are "Conservative" and admit the truth, you are Democrats in everything but name.

You do realize your plan would kill millions of Iraqis desirous of freedom,I understand that there are MILLIONS of Iraqis that are Muslims and Muslims wish to kill infidels and in the eyes of a Muslim an infidel is anyone that is NOT a "MUSLIM". What this means is that in the mind of a Muslim it is ok for them to kill me, a Christian and my family, also Christians. Hence they are MY ENEMY and as I stated, there is no peace so long as your enemy is alive.
The practitioners of Islam understand this simple concept. Why can't you?
Read how God understands this simple principle of warfare in the book of 1 Samuel - Chapter 15.
What's sad is how so many reject common sense.

Maybe we should stop worrying about what other nations think about us and do what is best for our nation. If other nations don't want us to unleash our arsenal on terrorist nations then maybe they should deal with the terrorist for us. Let them step up and defend us for once. Otherwise, in my opinion, those other countries can shove their "brand" of us up their...

Way to have your priorities straight, Guy.
Ignore the fact that he's leading the world in the fight against terror, and criticize the words he uses to say it.
Really profound thinking there..........as always.

Read how God understands this simple principle of warfare in the book of 1 Samuel - Chapter 15. I fully understand the concept and 1 Samuel.
What do you propose we do with the millions of muslims in the USA. Shall we nuke our own country?

Well I knowe one thing I can state with certainty:
'Rat candidates will say WHATEVER it take to win. When they do win, forget any promise they made, "cause that was then but this is now." and the driveby media will go along and forget about any promises, too.
Republicans face a whole other set of ethical rules....
To: ohioWfan
ANWR, social security, and not even immigration had anything to do with the Republican loss in November (I presume that's what you're talking about here).
So, how about the issue that's supposed to drive elections
Those are the issues, because Bush never pressed those issues, and ultimately failed. it gave the DemoRats more time to focus on taking down the successes of the war. And it was because the DemoRats were able to divert all of their energy to making the war the central issue, where Bush could have diverted public attention back to the other issues I mentioned. A strong White House can and should be able to control the agenda, not the Democrats and the media. If Bush would have fought as hard for immigration reform, or drilling in ANWR instead of allowing the GOP leadership to succumb to the implied threat of filibuster every time the Rats don't get their way.
It is up to the White House to control the lies of the MSM and counter them every time they are spoken, and make people accountable for what they say when they are misleading. Instead the White House is quiet until it is too late. The war has been the focal point of the White house. With few other successes, the Rats want to make sure to make the war a failure, so Bush will be a failure. We know he isn't. So why has the public perception of Bush changed to make him a failure?
To: Lucky9teen
I hope President Bush says it loud and says it often. He should schedule news conferences every day and advertise it as "Important Iraq Development". Take it to the media as well as the rats and Rinos.

Well, it's an improvement over "I'm the decider", which is what he said, I don't know, a couple of years ago on a very similar subject.
Maybe what he should have said was, "Hey Congress, repeat after me: 'Commander in CHIEF'!

The only valid point you have, IMO, is that the White House could have pressed harder in the PR game.
The President has been out there relentlessly defending and explaining the Iraq war. It's just not covered by the media.
I think it's a touch naive to think that if he pressed on ANWR or SS, that it would have made any difference.
And I think it's even more naive for you to think that the White House can control the media. It's never been true when a Republican has been in office, and it never will be. In fact, it's even worse now because the entire media is comprised of left wing, anti-American traitors. No White House can combat that kind of hostility.
