I read the allegation on S. Korean Internet site run by a local military analyst that Kim may be detained by the military a couple of days ago. I was not sure if it is really true. Anyway, now it is reported by an news outlet.

The source suggests the possibility that something might have happened to Kim Jong-il's health. The report also added that there is also a rumor circulating which says Kim being detained by (N. Korean) military.

Another view suggests that Kim Jong-il may be staying at his luxury villa in Wonsan on (N. Korea's) east coast

This just in, Kim Jong-il is either dead, alive, in jail, or not in jail.
