My favourite screen shot is the one of Blix's skeleton floating in the shark tank, still clutching his briefcase while Kim Jong Il laments his lack of friends in " So Ronery". Got that one?:)

Global warming more dangerous than nuclear weapons: Blix

Here is another example of the beauty of doom-mongering. It's rewarding, gets you all kinds of attention and, if it's nebulous enough and not subject to verification in our lifetimes a permanent scam beyond criticism.

Islamic terrorism -- we can do something about if we choose to.
Global Warming -- we can't, by any means known to man, definitively demonstrate that any action actually had a positive effect; e.g. if the warmnuts had managed to initiate a multi-trillion$ program to eliminate global warming, they would be taking credit for the absence of hurricanes in 2006...

They can't ever be demonstrably wrong, no matter how insane they are!

How, exactly?

This way: ... and I'm sure more than 50 years of economic effects from global warming.

By not qualifying a) "if any", or b) anthropogenic or natural, you are allowing the inference of either as equals, for those inclined one way or the other. You deem them equally likely, by ommission.
That's what "tacitly" means.

OK, I could have said "if any". I'm pretty certain there will be some economic effects of global warming (and some might be positive).

Is this better:

"and I'm sure more than 50 years of economic effects (if any) from anthropogenic or natural global warming".

"Nuclear power can give the world enormous amounts of electricity without giving any greenhouse gases."

Oh yeah? Just where do they get the nuclear fuel that goes into the plant? How many trucks are involved in transportation of that fuel? How many heavy equipment vehicles are involved in evacuating the ores from the ground?

Besides, we don't live in a greenhouse, and water vapor is what affects the mean temperature and not CO2.

Just go to any WEATHER SAT website and notice they don't have any views from SAT of the CO2. Just VISIBLE,INFRA-RED, and .......WATER VAPOR..

P.S.

Greenhouse gases are a direct result of GLOBAL WARMING or COOLING.

OK, so how do we fit global warming into a warhead and affix it to ICBM's?

So, in either case, if there really is Global Warming, we should simply adjust and move on. What's the big deal?

..the deal is the global warming industry will close down and people like Gore would have to find another "cause" to rally around.... but only if it's against industrialized nations. Socialist nations would be allowed to continue emitting pollutants at will, because globbies would be drawn and quartered and mailed back to where they came from....

Ahhh.
The cat is slowly coming out of the bag...
The activists* of all stripes are beginning to realize this and will attempt to twist logic and science eventually (I predict) legally to declare water vapor a toxic substance, the way CO2 has been in California in order to manufacture a curtain of legitimacy to justify fighting "global warming", to the tune of trillions of $.

*Activists - The leeches of society who live off grants and "studies" in their continuing attempts to achieve their "progressive" goal: redistribution of wealth and never having to get a real job.
