What I despise is that this new state deserves American tax dollars, food, etc to get them on their way.

He is right. Maybe they don't deserve a state. If they are given a state, it will be just another terrorist state to deal with in the long run,as they won't rest until all of Israel is theirs and every Jew is gone or has been killed. A lasting solution would therefore be -- to just wipe 'em out.
