No. The perp was shot in the ass. The doc that pulled the bullet said so. It's also impossible for him to determine what position his arms were in, and that includes his hands. There was also no med examiner.
I believe you are correct...
But I like what the document means to me from an asthetic sense, and that even though I am knowledgable in its literal meaning (technicalities and interpretations of terms used in it), the way I read the document early on increased my appreciation for the effort to help portions of it flow, make it easy to read...
My technical interest increased with understanding the context (environment) in which it was written, followed by learning about those who contributed to its creation, and knowing that no matter how long it remains one of the most important founding documents of our country, it shouldn't be relegated to secondary status by some who believe it should be interpreted loosely just because "times have changed"...
"Heck. There is no geographic limitation as I read it. "People" therefore, by his logic, must refer equally to inhabitants of Lower Slobovia. Makes about as much sense as it applying to illegal aliens here."
Yep.
Every report says "officers", and none of them ever tell us who the officer is. The prosecuter says it didn't happen, and there is no direct statement from an officer, or a name, associated with the rumor.
These are not hard news organizations, they pick up stuff from the web, and from blogs, and from e-mails. I certainly acknowledge that SOMEONE has put out a story that "officers" arrested the guy, but no story has identified the officer, and no story says they actually TALKED to the officers who said this.
BTW, this is a good story, because IT confirms that the bullet was in the guys "backside". Remember someone else posted that the medical examiner "proved" the guy was not shot in the backside, but was shot in the frontside.
Well, as I said, I'm tired of every new story contradicting previous stories on particulars.
I'm sorry, I can't find it. It was a story that suggested Davila was shot when he got back to his drugking bosses having lost his drugs, and that a search of the crime scene showed no blood anywhere, and that when Davilas got into the car he didn't look injured.
The other story may have been a pro-BP blog story. According to the story, Davila's first statement was inaccurate, which led some to believe he wasn't really there at all.
I will admit that I've been pointed to so many articles in frontpage, WND, cns, and pro-BP blogs that I could well be misattributing the organization associated with particular claims. It's very hard to keep them all straight, there are so many different stories being told.
The prosecutor (again) attempted to claim the there was no "evidence" of a second arrest. He never said that "it didn't happen". Again, more parsing of terms by an attorney.
I am going to order an official court transcript to see how much Sutton's story really holds water.
Do you even know what you are talking about? The position of USA for any federal district is a highly sought after position. I would estimate that there were over 100 applicants for the job, most highly qualified. I suggest you look at Mr. Sutton's background to see why the President choose him
