PETA, a well-funded organization that raises more than $25 million a year from 1.6 million members and supporters Trying to find homes; setting up an adoption program, for animals, would cost money which would cut into Ingrid Newkirk's salary.
And let's face it, a nice cute picture of a little girl with her newly adopted kitten is not nearly as exciting an ad campaign as one featuring some naked celebrity babe.
Newkirk is probably a lesbo to boot, so interviewing naked babes probably takes a lot of her attention away from the trivial matters of pet adoption.
