These Republicans are stupid. Conservatives aren't going to support them in 2008, and the liberals definetly won't. They are putting their careers ahead of what's good for the nation.

Coleman is worried about re election in that state. The other RINOs are the usual pantloads.

(Liberals love crisis, create crisis and then dwell on them.)

Politicians do what's politically viable, or they become ex-politicians. They're going to be ex-politicians no matter what. You think these Republicans are going to win over the kook anti-war voters? They're going to lose support from conservatives AND they won't get votes from liberals/independents.
Better to fight and stand on principle, if you're going to go down...

"None other than the President of Iran who now threatens the world with Islamofacist nuclear missles. Dude, this is geo-politics 101. If we stay singularly focused only in Afghanistan we're conrnered. But if we take out Saddam and are able to establish a non-sectarian or at least balanced government in Iraq we then have Iran surrounded. It's a global chess match."
Why play that kind of chess when we have smart bombs? We didn't need to be in Iraq to apply pressure to the Iranian government, or even to invade. Shoot, that jerkoff Hussein probably would have helped us invade Iran, quietly of course. He hated them. We're in a worse position to invade Iran. We're in a worse position to even just bluff them into into believing there is an imminent threat of invasion from us. We're too busy fighting in two other countries now. We've just emboldened them and all the other rogue nations. If this is what we are teaching in geo-politics 101 now maybe we need a new textbook.

HMMMMMMMMM...maybe you should get some Virginians to start calling and e-mailing Warner's office and tell him to NOT RUN again.

The base needs to write these Senators John Warner (R-VA), Norm Coleman (R-MN) and Susan Collins (R-ME) and other (R) defectors and tell them in plain terms: Cut and run and you're done! Make that the new rallying cry!
