In America dog food, in Germany Hundefutter and I take your point that presumably the horse at this point has very little interest in whether he is being eaten by a canine or a Homo sapiens.

Would someone tell me what the difference is in raising horses to eat or cattle to eat or buffalo to eat or beefalo to eat or deer to eat or farm-raised-catfish to eat or farm-raised-trout to eat or catching fish in nets off the coast of some Country to eat or hauling week old chickens to processing houses to eat or . . . ?????
I'll tell you. We, well, some people, have romanticized the horse and the deer. (Trigger and Bambi)
They're JUST animals, people. Yes, we make some pets, but what we pet, others eat. There's no way to promote "multi-culturalism" without expecting your Mexican neighbors to slit the neck of a goat once in a while for a barbecue, for instance. And yes, the two year old is standing right there, learning how to do it and gets goat-blood all over himself. "Me do, me do, me do" amid giggles.
It's FOOD. It's PROTEIN. I'm a tad tired of do-gooders stepping into a situation without considering all the alternatives and what's actually going on. Foreigners own the companies because they're shipping to foreign countries. Why is this bad? How many jobs will be lost? How much revenue will be lost to Texas and to the County and City the slaughter houses were in? It was just a company and some jobs. But the EMOTIONAL leftists can't accept logic and reason. And the Judge's statement proved the point.

No - They will just pack these creatures into cargo ships and take them where they can be slaughtered...Mexico??? Nah...that is what the Trans-Texas Corridor is for...
