WASHINGTON -- Of all the positions he has assumed in political wars, one rarely associated with the combative Rahm Emanuel is this: fetal.
Yet that is where he finds himself when it comes to his preferred candidate in the 2008 presidential race.
Last April, the former Clinton White House aide publicly committed to his political patron's wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), a view he also echoed privately and more than once. Now, with the ascendant candidacy of home-state political phenomenon Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), Emanuel has gone to a strange place for him, a neutral corner....
The democrat party worships the degenerate as if he were a god. It says alot about the democrat leadership and those democrats who choose to be blind sycophants for such a degenerate.
I wouldn't put it passed him to be calling in favors in the form of defections from her camp.
Be it a bimbo eruption, or an "off the record" /overheard remark that puts into doubt his support of his shrew, Bill will derail the Rodham Clinton presidency.
He wants to be the only President Clinton.

Don't be too sure. He has the connections to make it appear the election of rodhamster was due to him ... and never forget the perks which he will enjoy with a second wallow in power. Hillary ordered the FBI files. Can you even imagine what the degenerate will order when he sits behind the throne?
He doesn't know if she is going to run because they don't talk to each other unless a camera is nearby.
I had forgotten that Abner Mikva, after a very short tenure as White House counsel and in order to save his reputation (and probably his sanity) ran away from the Clintons "like a fire maddened rat" (props to Hunter S. Thompson).
In fact, kind of like Ichabod Crane, no one has heard from him since.
As hillary clinton runs in '08, so will the slime ooze from the swamp. Mickva, Bluementhal, Palladino, etc. I should ping Alamo Girl to round up the usual suspects...and to add a few more names to the thread that we will soon be seeing.

Harold Ickes is a souless creature invented by another souless creature (his father).
He is one of the most sinister political operatives currently working, but his strength and effectiveness is in the darkness, not the light.
When faced with the sunshine of public scrutiny, he retreats back into his coffin like shadow existence.
Bill & Hillary are the Lenny & Squiggy of modern politics. Someone once said that Lenny & Squiggy were stupid, but that they were a "REAL BUSY SORT OF STUPID". Perhaps the Clintons aren't so much stupid as they are corrupt, a REAL BUSY SORT OF CORRUPT.
Pray that God will spare us any more of the Clintons. If the state of New York likes them, they can have them - just please keep them busy lousing up New York and leave the rest of us alone.

My two cents' worth--and I think it is the two cents' worth of everybody who worked for the Clinton Administration health care reform effort of 1993-1994--is that Hillary Rodham Clinton needs to be kept very far away from the White House for the rest of her life. Heading up health-care reform was the only major administrative job she has ever tried to do. And she was a complete flop at it. She had neither the grasp of policy substance, the managerial skills, nor the political smarts to do the job she was then given. And she wasn't smart enough to realize that she was in over her head and had to get out of the Health Care Czar role quickly.... there is no reason to think that she would be anything but an abysmal president.
