Well actually I had a pile of things today.. seems important but did NONE yet & will no doubt do none, but the world still turns.

I had dog walk/lunch w/John
Early PM Bible study at home & then dinner/movie w/friend.

Just a freeping day & am still in my nightgown!

Even when I had to go out & round up dogs (pushed open door & went out & "played" about an hour) I just put coat atop night gown.

Read our paper headlines that the California citrus crop is lost, is that true? (not that I don't trust the newspapers)

you did save the Mama-bear crop?

How can anyone be against a team called The Patriots?

Ain't that the truth? :)

Hi, proud. :)

Dolly, Your band picture is a hoot.

I have told my children that years ago we used to call everyone to the TV to make sure they didn't miss the band when they were doing the SCRIPT OHIO at the half time show. It was always great to see the OHIO band do their thing. We didn't need rock stars....at halftime. We enjoyed the band and watching the students perform their formations and routines. I still get a kick and appreciate the precision of the talented band and cheer during the tradition of dotting the "i." Nowasays, I think the producers minimize featuring the student entertainment. They barely showed the OHIO and Florida bands but for a total of 60 seconds each.

My oldest went to Florida, so Dolly we were all in a different place than the OHIO fans for the BCS. I couldn't believe the Ohio band performed the sinking Titantic though. That was pretty surprising for a football game half time show.

They played against each other earlier in the season and their parents were nervous wrecks. The Colts beat that game but the Giants did fairly well!

Oh, I bet that would be nerve-wracking!

Thank you, dutchess! Just now getting back to the thread again. Yeah, I would think you'd have a hard time *not* being a Saints fan right now. So happy you had a great time there last week!

Hi Billie
Excellent thread! Here's what I know about football.
This is a football. :) A bunch of guys run around to get it through a goal post for Touchdown. If the guy drops it then it's a fumble, I think. And if the other team catches a pass,... I think it's an interception.

Half time have snacks ready. During SuperBowl, I only get the snacks while the game is on because I enjoy the commercials. Pretty good huh? ;) LOL

Now I'll read the thread and learn something :)

Hey Dolly - I thought you said you were going to do some chores now. I am going to have to track down your thread from Bowl night. I'm sure it will be entertaining.

I love the picture of the young football warriors in their dirty/well played uniforms.

I'm enjoying this thread, Billie. Well done. I'll check back for a post-game analysis and review. Off to do chores just like Dolly.
