Many of us Jews are ready to stand with you. But you must lead. You must replace your timidity with nerve and your diffidence with daring and determination. You are under attack. Now is the time to resist it.
Trust in Yah'shua ! Call on His Name and say:Don't trust in Christians !
b'shem Yah'shua
Mattityahu 23:39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say,
'Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.'" [Tehillim 118:26]
Barukh haba b'Shem YHvH
Blessed is He who comes in the Name of YHvH
Yah'shua haMashiach
Thanks. I hope I'm ready for the battle!
satan HATES the Jews because Jesus came from among them. he has always tried to destroy them but God has always preserved a remnant. Anti-semitism isn't new, as you know. This is a spiritual battle and can only be won through interaction with a Holy God and his archangel, Michael, who is the prince over Israel, its protector. God will not allow Israel to be destroyed. Injured, yes, but never destroyed no matter how loudly the Iranian president shouts. We always need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and also our Jewish people here in America, to know the God of their fathers!
Pretty much the case. American Christianity has gotten so comfortable with their lattes, the plush theater seats(with cup holders) & having all their felt needs met they are ill prepared for the storm that's coming. Self esteem & complacency do not prepare one for battle.
I didn't realize that Sullivan of the famous team had written that. Amazing! Glad to hear it's in the hymnbook. Did they change any of the words to fit their PC bent?
Excellent points.
I have admired Rabbi Lapin for some time now and this piece is a primary example of why I admire him. I hope he continues to speak out.
If George Bush 'got' it, there'd be no road map to destruction for the Jews...And he wouldn't be trying to sell us his 'religion of peace'...
The Rabbi's concerns are legitimate...We no longer have any strong Christian leaders...
And of course you're right. I was merely responding to Rabbi Lapin's putting the responsibility on chr*stians when Jews are the Chosen People (and that carries a great responsibility which no other people have). Of course it is G-d Who is in control of all things.
...and Switzerland.
My son - who is very young - so far is very conservative and also pro life.
Bush no more believes Islam is the ROP than you do.
It's called diplomacy (also known as lying out of necessity).
Thus, we can get the oil we need and the Saudi royal family, et al, can maintain their fragile semi-control over the nutbags that make up their country, as opposed to outright opposition.
Unpleasant? Dishonest? Gross? Yeah. Also part of the job.
Dan's my Rabbi..! And when the Raiders aren't on, I call his show most Sundays (KSFO 560 am in San Fracisco, 2-4 pm, PST)
I agree totally. Who first has the duty to speak to suicidal, secular Jews?
I agree with your comments, but would alter the above to state "... to protect their jobs and all-mighty retirement benefits".
This is my Fathers world: the battle is not done:have been replaced with
Jesus Who died shall be satisfied, And earth and Heavn be one.
This is my Fathers world, why should my heart be sad?I assume the reference to a battle is at odds with our church leadership's pacifict bent.
The lord is Kinglet the heavens ring. God reignslet the earth be glad.
Perhaps the greatest PC travesty in our hymnal is that "God of Our Fathers" has been renamed "God of the Ages." The words to this song, which has come to be known as the National Hymn, were originally written in 1876 to honor America's centenniel. They were originaly set to the tune "Bozhe Tsarya Khrani" (God protect the Czar), the Russian national anthem. In 1888, a new tune was written for the hymn, to honor the centenniel of the US Constitution. However, our church's liberal leadershp pparently considers "God of Our Fathers" to be sexist.
Speaking of fathers, another popular hymn, Eternal Father, Strong to Save is missing from our hymnal. You will also be out of luck if you're looking for the third verse of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic":
I have seen his message written in the burnished rows of steel:
"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace will deas.
Let the hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,"
As God is marching on.
Strongly disagree. Christians aren't cowards. Unfortunately, many take the command to "be not of this world" to mean they should withdraw and simply take care their own. It's not my viewpoint, but it's not based on cowardice.
OK! you can count me in...I have understood the situation, for the last 30 years...the slide down hill began, with the state sanctioned abortion...followed by the so called: sexual revolution, which permitted the lesbian/homosexual, agenda to flourish....the gays can't procreate, they must indoctrinate, or burn out...
> Appenently the only one that gets it is George W Bush. <
What does he "get"?
They have become a bunch of pacifists and man haters, I think. The feminists are taking over. One reason why I left my dear church and am going to a non-denominational one. Sigh. I loved the old hymns the way the CHURCH FATHERS intended them to read. Grrr.
