Yes, but this particular batch of Dims don't seem as capable of pulling this kind of crap off as their predecessors.
They, thankfully, seem blind to how they appear to the public and it's going to turn off more than just conservatives.
Her concrete face might just be the foundation on which Conservatism is re-built.

Well the MSM only points out what the Republicans do. Consider this balance.

del monte company, checked out the website.

I wonder if Pelosi owns stock in that company ? makes you wonder ??
To: stuartcr
Judging from the stuff on FR, it must only be the democrats that do this sort of thing... Care to enlighten the rest of us here by pointing to specific threads or posts that illustrate how squeaky clean we all think the Republicans are when it comes to campaign finance?
The entire point of the Boortz article is that the Dems get a pass from the MSM when it comes to shady dealings and slime ball campaign finance.

Typical Kalefornia dim. Babs dissing Dr. Rice for not having children and now this. Can all Republicans and FR move out and blow that state into the Pacific?

This is being talked about on FOX NEWS right NOW!!...LOL

Obviously there's plenty of corruption and hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle. However, we can be proud of the fact that conservative/republican voters are far more willing to punish that behavior.
I actually managed to argue a liberal into a corner about the consistent reelection of convicted democrat criminals. She said "but the people reelect them". My response was "Yep, liberals knowingly and willingly reelect convicted criminals and that says a lot about that constituency'. She was pissed. LOL

Interesting stock portfolio, I think. In fact, I wonder how well I could do just buying small numbers of those shares? I could call it the Pelosi Purchase Program!!

I can't find any big bucks coming to her from Del Monte. Not to say they aren't there, but if they really aren't, I'm very curious why she did this. A quid pro quo? If so, for what/whom? Hope someone does some digging.

The next time these people say they need a raise, I hope someone waves copies of their financial disclosure sheets at them.
So much for public service.

Short Answer - to benefit the companies in her state. And that alone shows the fact that she KNOWS that a minimum wage increase will cause employers to fire people.

She will benefit from the generosity of the employees of DELMONTE and STARKIST who will not lose their jobs and their Employers bankrupted like other Companies will be by this move. They will be so grateful they will reward Lugosi and her fellow criminals. The Campaign Donations list your occupation but not where you work.
