Remember, when the Rats like Pelosi and Jon Carry promise a more ethical government, that means their MSM buddies will never tell us about their unethical activities.

Please ping me when you find a ketchup that is not owned by the Heinz monopoly. We boycotted heinz products for the longest time. However, we shop at Sam's Club and BJ's and Costco due to our large family and the need to buy in bulk. All three of those companies sell Heinz ketchup and only Heinz ketchup. We would go to the grocery store and buy Del Monte when it was on sale. And out of ignorance, we were still supporting Heinz. Arghhh!

I am familiar with that concept having lived in Alaska. But a tropical island seems like a pretty laid back life compared to digging your truck out of 2 feet of snow every morning. I guess if you wanted a NY steak or some big ticket item like a TV or computer that would be higher. Just seems if the majority of the people are locals they probably don't live like we do, buying anything and everything we want on a whim. Simple life? Maybe I am too removed to see the whole picture.....

Heh... the so-called Democrats got caught on this one, not that it will make a difference come 2008, not least because territories don't have E-College votes.

"But did you know that American Samoa...a Democrat stronghold...is being exempted from the minimum wage increase? And just what are the reasons being given for this? According to the chairman of the House, Education and Labor Committee, Democrat George Miller of California, the economy of American Samoa doesn't have the ability to handle the United States' minimum wage and should be exempt."
