In public they condemn but in private they are cheering.

But Italy - the former colonial power in central and southern Somalia - condemned the US strikes.

The only reason Italy was "the former colonial power" was that that Mussolini wanted a "New Roman Empire" and that armpit was about the only place he could take by force of Italian arms, that no one else in their right mind would even want.

When he did so, the League of Nations, like the UN, friend of dictators world wide, did nothing, just as they did nothing to stop Hitler or Tojo's aggressions. Just as the UN has done nothing to stop the IslamoNazis.
