Share the title? LOL. You know the winner gets the prize, right?
I feel sorry for Buckeye and Big 10 fans that your introduction to top-quality football this year was, embarassingly, at the national level and in an NC game.

Thanks, guess I did not need those points after all.
These things happen (UCLA, Oregon State) that is part of what makes the game so much fun and one that should not be taken too seriously!
I have to believe in my lifetime I will see Georgia beat the Gators, lol. Ya know, it's the glass half full attitude.
And algore deserves the Presidency because he won the popular vote.
What's that? That's not how the system works?
Until they get rid of the bowl system and institute a playoff, there will never BE a #1 team..... just lots of opinions - which don't mean squat.
Anybody who supports the "bowl system" and even watches the stupid, meaningless games played 55 days after the end of the season is a fool and deluded.
Stop watching and they will change it. Keep watching and they'll keep taking money from losers while deciding who THEY want as #1 and laughing at the losers the whole time!
It's why I don't won't and will never watch college football - until they change the system it is just pure B.S.
IF they did the same thing in Basketball, they could just pick Duke as #1 every year and not bother with that pesky NCAA tournament - where teams actually have to beat 7 other teams they might not normally play in order to be named #1.
The BCS bowl reminds me of Liberal logic - wish it hard enough and it will be true.
The Pac-10 charter calls for its members to be major research institutions. The Pac-10 presidents would absolutely never let BSU into the conference. To put it kindly, BSU is not held in any type of academic esteem.
BYU has been rumored to have put feelers out several times about getting into the Pac-10. Each time it was told that it didn't qualify as a major, research institution. In terms of academic respect, BYU >> BSU. The two weakest academic institutions in the current Pac-10, WSU and OSU, are far ahead of BSU in terms of academic respect and light-years ahead in terms of research infastructure. BSU has no medical school, no law school, no vet school, and no graduate programs of national note. Its best graduate program is probably its engineering program which is run by the University of Idaho.
A much more likely scenario is for BSU to move to the Mountain West if the Pac-10 expands by taking a school from that conference (Utah, New Mexico, Colorado State being possible candidates).
Besides football, BSU would bring nothing to the Pac-10 table. Conference expansion will not be based just on football.
grand valley state? in MI?
