There's a company that flies zero-g flights commercially with a modified 727-200F. Did the X-prize craft achieve extended zero-G time? If not, I think that would be a significant prize criterion. Zero-G is one of the few conditions which is available in space that is not available--at least not for very long--on earth.

This isn't "zero g" any more than skydiving or bungee jumping is zero G. It's an illusion, an uncomfortable illusion, like the "fun houses" I used to go to as a little girl, where the rooms are built in funny angles to make you feel as if you're walking up the side. The plane is diving faster than you can fall, so you think you are floating. The inner ear is offended, so you barf. But it's an interesting lesson in relativity.
