Like I've said before, I like Hunter but politics is like chess not checkers. LOL
Hunter should run and WIN the U.S. Senate from Cali before thinking about running for POTUS or even governor of Cali would even be better since governors are more likely to be elected POTUS than senators or congressmen.

"That he's 50% white and raised in a 100% white family would seem to qualify him as more white than black wouldn't it?"

All I know is that Obama claims to be African American...
any more and you'll have to take it up with him and/or his parents.

but he sure as hell isn't "white" LOL

I find it difficult to see our President endorsing mcshame.
mcshame has back stabbed him too many times. mcshame is an envoy for the left. For some reason, I think he has an agenda, don't know what it is, but it won't be good for the U.S. He rides around on his former VN wounded POW wagon, too much, for my taste. Rep Johnson from Dal/Ft Worth was there too, suffered as much, but has never flaunted that before the public to gain votes.

LOL... OK, I can't argue that.  It would be a great question to ask him though.

This country doesn't have that kind of time left, do you understand? If these borders are not protected soon, it's over. What has Dick Cheney ever done about that?

All you Cheney people...STOP DREAMING...stop it. It'll never happen. At least waste your time here by discussing things that actually have a chance of happening.

Thanks.

Well, you're welcome. In case you don't see the writing on the wall...FR is becoming irrelevant.

I am well aware of Duncan Hunter.(I LIVE in Southern Cali)

Why do you say that?

I don't know if we can afford to take a chance on a candidate that can't win his state. That would be a tough decision. He is a good guy, but it would be risky.

Dan is my first choice and, for me, the best choice in 2008.

As funny as it may sound to those who base their opinions on what big media tells them, Dan Quayle may well be the only Republican with the qualifications, convictions, and personality to extend the Reagan legacy.

I like Dick Cheney but he has NO change of getting elected because of his ties to Bush and a history of health problems.

Agreed.

He's totally unelectible - much of his effectiveness has been because he can speak plainly, without any need to campaign or keep his political options open.

Besides, the last thing we need is anyone related to a Bush. Time for a clean break.

The only way to effect change is by living in the real world. FR lives in the past...1980 to be exact. The world has changed. We are no longer a Conservative majority and until we realize that, we're just spinning our wheels bemoaning what "could have been."

"do you understand?"

no need to get snippy...I probably "understand" more than most...being a Marine Corps combat veteran, a CA native business owner for almost 30 years who lives & works in Southern Cali...

"What has Dick Cheney ever done about that?"
Well Cheney has more experience than anyone you can mention. LMAO
