Just curious, do you really think there is no difference between GWB's reaction to 9/11 and that of a President Gore or Kerry?
welcome to FR.. enjoy the stay.
5+ years after 9-11, and we still have no national security (without secure borders).
Muchos gracias, Presidente Bush.
Remember everyone, we're doing this so we can all have cheap lettuce! Build a fence and throw illegal employers in jail, and this ends. Period.
What, and put myself in your category? No thanks.
Worth repeating!
Most of us DID support Bush. And still do.
Most of us are also grown-up enough to remember that the alternative was Gore/Kerry. Evidently not all of us.
You never did suppport him. You also lack the courage to stand by your convictions.
Your deflection from the subject of the Invasion to the subject of Bush Bashing is duly noted. You have lots of company, especially in the DBM.
That needs more explaination.

Please reread my post above.....I said that the candidates (Gore and Kerry) who opposed George Bush were too awful to contemplate......
However on the border/illegal issue.....
I don't think that George Bush has done any more to secure the borders than they would have.
What did we get?
A National Guard not allowed to apprehend illegals
A Border Patrol who has two agents about to go to jail because they did confront an illegal
A fence that is unfunded
An immigration "reform" that is amnesty for illegals
What's the difference?
I've been on this forum a few months, you lie, because you don't have a clue. The fact that you still support these boneheaded policies out of the white house proves your loyalty. Fine remain loyal to a politician instead of your country.
Your handle, together with your tagline, explains your view.
Inconveniencing child molesters must be right up there. After all "they are just seeking a better life"! So what if American kids get molested? That's the price we have to pay for "diversity" (/sarc).
Illegals are turning our civilized Nation into a Third World Banana Republic. Pretty soon we'll have camouflage-cald federales armed with shoulder holsters and ammo clips patrolling our streets, protecting the "rights" of illegals.
Now hear this Washington: Government policy must be based on facts, not political expediency. Our civilized society rests on the rule of law. A democratic society insists upon constitutional principles being applied all the time, not just when it is expedient. A superficial, cavalier approach cannot begin to address the very real problems of violent crime.
Not a lie, an assertion on my part. I have your posting record.
The fact that you still support these boneheaded policies out of the white house proves your loyalty.
Who says I support the policies? I don't, but I also know that these are exactly the Mexico policies Bush has held since the 2000 campaign. And, according to your statements, YOU voted for, and supported, the man who held, and didn't hide, these policies.
Fine remain loyal to a politician instead of your country.
Hell, according to you, you VOTED FOR THE MAN WHO HELD THESE POLICIES! Twice.
NOW you us to believe you've somehow gotten religion and discovered that you want to join the DBM and the DUer's and start bashing? Seesh, grown up.
Little difference between Bush and Pelosi on immigration, although I suspect Pelosi will gut enforcement even more, provide shorter and easier terms to citizenship (= Democratic voters), etc.
IOW, I can pretty much guarantee you'll like the Pelosi "reform" even less than you like the Bush version.
The enforce the laws against us alright, just not illegals.
What amazes me is that so few are realizing the grave import of all this. On FR so many sneer at the terrible danger the flood of illegals is causing and will continue to cause.
I see some bad stuff happening soon. Very bad.
You're right, they do explain some of my views.
Balding_Eagle.............someone who has a few years under his belt, and the wisdom that comes with those years.
God has blessed Republicans with political enemies who are going senile...........Something that I crafted after listening to Rush discuss our political enemies.
You're probably right, you're not in that category.
Really? I sure hope you vote better than you read, because I've never said who I voted for. I voted for Bush once. The second time, to stand by my president in a time of war. He turned out to be the open border, head in the sand liberal I thought he was in the first place.
You're not nearly as cleaver as you think. And if you support the Bush agenda, you are no conservative.
