Basim, a 2003 graduate in Political Science from UC Berkeley
As Executive Director, Basim Elkarra has defended someone who trained for jihad in a Pakistani terrorist camp; he has defended an imam who urged a Pakistani crowd to wage attacks on America; and he has defended an imam who was attempting to build an Islamic school for the purpose of teaching children how to commit violent acts against Americans. Also, Elkarra has described Israel as a "racist" and "apartheid" state, and he has moderated an event that featured a Hamas operative who spent five years in an Israeli prison and who is currently on trial in the U.S.
Phobia is fear, fear heightens awareness, everyone should be aware of what Islam really is, a cult. This is a truth that is confirmed by it's very actions - conversion by violence, hate, murder, repression.
"Convert or have your throat slit" is a tenet all muslims believe is just and right.
They wish for all of this to remain in the darkness for the darkness hates the light.
They cry out as victims of Islamophobia but their silence in recognizing terrorist organizations for what they are keeps their true beliefs hidden in the darkness.
They wish to pass off legitimate fear as an illegitimate phobia. Don't be fooled, your phobia is justified, it is legitimate and well founded and you should stand firm in it.
Where Islam is concerned be afraid, be very afraid, and act accordingly.
