Ping
Could you ping your list for me....THANKS
And, folks, think about 2008. Guiliani is of one mind with Bloomberg on guns -- he wants to ban 'em. All. Everywhere.
So far, the Republicans have nothing but bad choices put forward for 2008.

Criminal Number 18F
I am afraid they are probably wasting their efforts with THIS government....
I am going to try to go to DC for this. How many here will join me?
I can't stress how important it is that we stand up and be counted in this moment of peril in our history!
Ping!!
Will you please ping the gun list?
Thanks for the ping. BTTT!
He does? It'd be interesting to read a quotation of him making that statement.
"Unfortunately, Rudy Giuliani is a proponent of gun control who supported the Brady Bill and the Assault Weapon Ban.
Do Republicans really want to abandon their strong 2nd Amendment stance by selecting a pro-gun control nominee?"

Also, Rudy is in favor of ILLEGAL immigration and partial-birth infanticide.
"When Congress enacted immigration reform laws that forbade local governments from barring employees from cooperating with the INS, Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed suit against the feds in 1997.
He was rebuffed by two lower courts, which ruled that the sanctuary order amounted to special treatment for illegal aliens and were nothing more than an unlawful effort to flaunt federal enforcement efforts against illegal aliens. In January 2000, the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, but Giuliani vowed to ignore the law."

On PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION:

Pro-choice; no ban on partial-birth abortions. (Dec 1999)
Rep. Duncan Hunter is a good man. I hope FReepers will make him a household name.
Here's a quote by Hunter: "I believe in a strong national defense, a strong and enforceable border, a two-way street on trade."

Here's just a couple of his conservative position on the issues from above link:
Rated 0% by NARAL, indicating a pro-life voting record. (Dec 2003)
Rated 100% by FAIR, indicating a voting record restricting immigration. (Dec 2003)
PING!
City's war on colon cancer
>>The Bloomberg administration is making an all-out push [LOL] to prevent colon cancer, with a plan to double the number of screenings over the next five years, The Post has learned.
[snip]
>>"There is much more that we can and must do to significantly expand the use of colonoscopy," said Lynn Silver, the city Health Department's assistant commissioner for chronic-disease prevention. ---Carl Campanile<<
Going where no mayor has gone before. He won on smoking, he won on trans-fats, he won on having high blood sugar reported to the city government. We will all be healthy but infantilized. What next? We have almost three more years of this.
He is a menace to liberty.
DC ping for Jan. 23 (day after the March)
I am proud to say that not only have I never voted for Bumbleberg, but I have never even gotten a signature for him! I absolutely refused.
I really don't understand Rudy - when he was younger he wanted to be a priest and he USED TO BE PRO LIFE. Shame on him for abandoning his principals.
