He is less conservative than he is nuts now.

Ya' know, I kind of like the healthy aruguments we're having here today. I think Savage would approve, by the way. Based on yesterday's show, he thinks that vigorous arguing is far, far healthier than uptight silence.

1. The Speaker of the House is third in line to the WH. That alone makes the position important.
2. The Speaker of the House sets the agenda and the tone of the House. This will deeply affect which bills end up on the President lap. Since Bush never met a bill he didn't like, this is scary.

Besides, I seem to remember someone saying that the best form of government is where some one person makes the legislatures carry out the will of the people. Maybe Pelosi is that person?

Savage is talking to someone from Miami asking him what good has Bush done for us in the past 6 years. Savage said he was thankful for less taxation. He also said that Cubans tend to be right wing b/c they know how much communism stinks.
