That is not 100% correct. Here as a word from God to Jeremiah, the prophet to the nations concerning certain conditions God looks for. God gives room for people or nations to recognize their wrongdoing and repent. It is consistent with his love and mercy.

Jerry Falwell once said that when he hears such claims he asks: "What kind of voice did God have? Was it a deep voice? Etc.". I wonder if he would ask his buddy Robertson these questions.

With Robertson linked to the Republicans, is it any wonder why many in this country are hesitant to support conservative and Republican causes?

No. I think he's off the deep end. Although he was right about Chavez.

God's track record should be no less than 100%. So this means either:

A-Pat's full of it
B-God lies to Pat
C-Pat has hallucinations
D-God changes his mind every time he talks to Pat

I've never seen him to be anti-Catholic.

I know that most of the prophesies coming out of these charasmanic churches are probably false,(Ezekiel 14: 7-9 a warning) but that doesn’t mean God is not speaking through prophecy, visions, dreams today. I think we are looking at both sides of the same coin. God will give a nation leeway, but he says so in that case. Once God gives an unconditional this will happen, it will happen.
