It dawned on me during an intolerable company Christmas party that there's really no difference between protesters and the obnoxious office drunk.

KGO news director Kevin Keeshan called the scuffle an illegal assault by a police officer and said the station intended to file a report with the Highway Patrol.
Why is a camera man scuffling with a police officer in the first place. And why did KGO send a camera man to cover a wow! 10 person protest unless they were expecting some bigger "news" to occur?
She wouldn't be a beauty, but she is truly much more ugly by how she has made herself so miserable. You can see it in the expression. It's sad someone wastes their life like this.

KGO was probably on the scene as a matter of course covering the traffic going across the bridge (especially since it was New Years Day made it even more news worthy). There was no mention of a time honored tradition or organized even that takes place on that day (as occurs in Michigan across the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day).
"Well, in other news you take you to the Golden Gate Bridge, with our man-in-the-stree-report of what's happening there. So Randy, what can you tell us about the situation at the Golden Gate Bridge?"
"Well, not much Kevin, but that doesn't mean that anything won't happen very soon."
"How long have you been at the Golden Gate Bridge?"
"Kevin, I've been here for 14 months, three weeks, two days and 19 hours."
"O.k., Randy, keep us informed on any breaking developments there, o.k."
"Right, Kevin, will do. This is Randy Davis, reporting live from the Golden Gate Bridge. Back to you Kevin."
"And there you have it, nothing is happening, nor has happened, but may happen at any time. Stay tuned for any breaking developments on this story."
Or prehaps, KGO probably sent a camera crew on scene in response to receipt of a communiqué notifying them of news worthy event that would be occuring there. I wonder why a communiqué or traditional event wasn't mentioned in the report?

Why bother taking these idiots into custody?? Throw them off the bridge and save the taxpayers money. I'm sure there were hundreds of people, in vehicles and walking, that would have helped the police throw them over the rail.

They all look really confused (maybe stoned) to me.
