That's a double whammy--she can talk out of both sides of her mouth on both of her faces...

I'd opt for the work over the storms. LOL.

I'm sure you're right. I want just enough snow to make them send us home, but not so much that it becomes inconvenient. I'm a very reasonable woman.

Did you have any bad weather over the holidays?

The Dem's are going to try to lay low for the next two years

They'll try, but to no avail...They can't keep the kooks in the closet for too long--their slime can ooze out of any cracks...

1) They are liberal.
2) They are who they are; they cannot hide who they are.
3) They are that dumb.

Democrats To Start Without GOP Input Quick Passage of First Bills Sought

By Lyndsey Layton and Juliet Eilperin
Washington Post Staff Writers
Tuesday, January 2, 2007; A01

As they prepare to take control of Congress this week and face up to campaign pledges to restore bipartisanship and openness, Democrats are planning to largely sideline Republicans from the first burst of lawmaking.

House Democrats intend to pass a raft of popular measures as part of their well-publicized plan for the first 100 hours. They include tightening ethics rules for lawmakers, raising the minimum wage, allowing more research on stem cells and cutting interest rates on student loans.

But instead of allowing Republicans to fully participate in deliberations, as promised after the Democratic victory in the Nov. 7 midterm elections, Democrats now say they will use House rules to prevent the opposition from offering alternative measures, assuring speedy passage of the bills and allowing their party to trumpet early victories.

Hi rottndog. I'm reading Ann Coulter's "Godless", and you're right. I just hope it becomes so obnoxious that ordinary Americans (who aren't political junkies like us) become aware of it.

Hi AQ--Happy New Year!

All I have to do is turn on the local commie radio, KPFK (Pacifica Radio Network), listen for a few minutes, and then sit back assured of their self destruction. They just can't help themselves.

I believe you've got the balance thing down pat.

We got hit by the same storms as Co. did only not quite as severe. Guess we wound up with a total of around 15 inches.

Good thing we had a few days of thaw before the second storm hit.

Bad thing is since the last storm we haven't been above freezing since.

Oh well, can't expect too much this time of year.

I hope M.McConnel sticks to his guns---"...Harry Reid can expect the same level of cooperation he gave us under similar circumstances...".

Why so angry this morning? Just because you don't like Roger doesn't mean you have to use crude and rude language. Frankly Roger is my favorite and Mark Belling is the one I can't listen to. We're all entitled to our likes and dislikes but I think your post reflects poorly on yourself and does no service to the other freepers.

I agree TX...Roger is one of my favorites. To each his own, I guess. I try to live by what I was once taught: If you don't have anything nice to say...put a sock in it! (I changed the ending a little) ;-)

I believe so, it was on, but it was just background noise for me this AM.

Gotta go. Gotta beat the school bus.
