I love the Bush family. All of them. I love the Ford Family.
Can't say that about Clintons or Carters=not good people.

A soft smile from President Bush as he watched his father's humorous remarks.

Paul O'Neil was at the US Capitol the other evening as well.

And Rummy *always* looks like he's enjoying some private inside joke that we don't know about. Such sweet eyes.

In cases like that, you don't speak at *all* of the dead, and they enter obscurity quite quickly.

Former President Bush was wonderful. Now, Hank is on. All the Old Guard is there.
BTW, I think it should have been a Holiday for ALL the people. My husband has to go to work too :)

Kissinger very nicely giving Ford some of the Israeli-Egypt agreement credit, which he never got while living.

Did you see Carter sitting there with his nose up in the air? And Roslyn can't stop yakking, even during solemn moments.
To: Miss Marple
That was very touching and which Israeli leader was that?

Music is magnificent. God bless Betty Ford, she is so frail. I don't think it will be much longer before she and her Jerry are together once again. May their dance in heaven be eternally joyous.
I found these photos so incredibly touching. Tears.

Yes, that was a very nice statement. Secretary Kissinger also paid eloquent respect to President Ford's achievements, prudence, and common sense.

They were married for 63 years. God bless her.

I love Rummy and Cheney. Two of my favorites, both mentored and got their wings under the Ford Administration. Ford's Admin was the incubator for this Admin's advisors. Lots came from Ford's presidential term.

I am wondering also who that was... I feel I should know, he looked so familiar.
