You know why?? I am so sick of this kind of stuff - why is it when someone is half black and half white, they are suddenly "black" and all the claims of racism that goes with it? What the heck makes them more black than white?

Probably the old "octoroon" law - if you were 1/8th black, you were black.
They are simply applying the old Black Codes.
Which is silly, but all the race-baiters live in the past. They seem to LIKE the idea of segregation and racism being just as bad as in the bad old days . . . I guess because it pays to make things sound as bad as possible.
