"Don't the gun control nuts often say: "There is no reason for a private citizen to own an Ak-47?" Well, here's one, you dopes."

I agree. I don't have a AK-47 though I think its a excellent weapon. I've got a twelve gauge slug gun to use if I have too.

Regardless of some twits elected in the liberal districts, MI. is still a very pro gun state and socially conservative.

I heard someone on the radio news this morning talking about a tax on services to help take up the slack. They did mention that there might be a decrease in the personal income tax to help take the stench off the services tax though. Yeah, right.

Aren't you supposed to first try talking with them, understand whats bothering them, show them that you mean them no harm, maybe write them a threatening letter or two.

I mean honestly this doctrine of preemption that Bush started is really getting out of control.

/sarcasm off

Not complete but it does compile.

People need to send in the stories.

Our communist Canadian governor wants to shift the tax to insurance companies. She is too stupid to realize that shifts all the tax to consumers.

Beagle, hon, you missed one. Michigan is one of the easiest states in the country to homeschool in.

JohnD and Prov: True, we have Stab and Conyers and Granholm, but they mostly get re-elected TIME AFTER TIME by pretending to be devout Christian conservatives loaded with family values while posing with a just-shot-still-warm turkey/buck/pheasant and extolling the virtues of their own family that has a rich heritage in the rich culture of hunting in Michigan, yada yada. Oh, and the "my husband was studying to be a priest before he met me and thank the Lord he married me instead" line worked, too.

All the good conservative people who vote for them are fooled because most of the time the pay no attention to the man behind the curtain and just vote the way the union bosses tell them to. /rant off

Oh, so that's what the tax on services means? LOL. It just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? It reminds me of the coconut game, try to keep the tax hidden and move it around.

You've got to invite us over to your 'rec' room.

The rec room is private, but you are welcome to visit my living room. The tank sits at the center where most people have their coffee tables and the couches are placed alongside. The barrel is aimed directly at the main door. When people enter through the main door, their first view of my home is down a deep long dark tunnel. If the lock is tampered with it will automatically set off a blast, but fortunately the door is replaceable and I have a dozen spare ones in the garage. If any of the windows are opened from the outside without first deactivating the attack switch, the turret will swing toward the windows and blast them away.

My living room is quite secure actually. If there is a power outage for some reason I usually climb inside the tank and spend the night inside reading a book.

What difference does it make what kind of gun he used to defend himself and his family?

Yeah, he should have used a Win .300 hunting round in a bolt-action rifle.

You mean a hunting rifle? I hate the left for many reasons but their semantics and refusal to face the facts rank near the top.

I have 2 MAC 90's. One stamped, one machined. They have "sporter" stocks. Close enough to an AK for me.( and lots cheaper).

I guess with the Dims taking over, I should say I know a guy that has 2 MAC's. Reading my e mail was OK to Clinton when he was prez. I guess FR will be on the front burner in a few days and Al Quida will just be an after thought.

Gonna be a long 2 years, I'm afraid.
