Personality Disorder Not Otherwise Specified: this "is a catagory provided for two situations: 1) the individual's personality pattern meets the general criteria for a Personality Disorder and traits of several different personality Disorders are present, but the criteria for any specific Personality Disorder are not met; or 2) the individual's personality patttern meets the general criteria for a Personality Disorder, but the individual is considered to have a Personality Disorder that is not included in the Classification (e.g., passive-aggressive personality disorder)."
Back later with more!!

Thanks Nancee. Your series of posts have given me an idea.... Will ping you as soon as it's posted.
The Personality Disorders are grouped into three clusters based on descriptive similarities.
Cluster A: includes: the Paranoid, Schizoid, and Schizotypal personality Disorders. Individuals with these disorders often appear odd or eccentric.
Cluster B: includes: the Antisocial, Borderline, Histrionic, and Narcissistic Personality Disorders. Individuals with these disorders ofter appear dramatic, emotional, or erractic.
Cluster C: includes: the Avoidant, Dependent, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders. Individuals with these disorders often appear anxious or fearful.
Obviously, we are going to be focusing on "Cluster B". This is precisely the area of concern where BOTH Hillary and Bill are concerned!
More later!

Going back up to post #140, review the general definition of a Personality Disorder:
"A Personality Disorder is an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the individual's culture, is pervasive and inflexible, has an onset in adolescence or early adulthood, is stable over time, and leads to distress or impairment."
Next we build on this and expand this dfinition!

"dfinition"=definition
Thanks, Mia.
I've never seen the show, so I don't know what a 'normal' guest segment looks like, but they seemed afraid to move, or interrupt, until she got her points out.
It also seemed like the woman on the far right was reading all of the 'proper' set up questions off cue cards. I'd love to hear other people's impressions on that.
You know, with all the resources Hillary has available, and all the $$$ she spends on upkeep, you'd think she'd be able to walk and sit in becoming ways, and to have better clothes, hair and make-up. She needn't be glamorous, but kempt would be a vast improvement.
It struck me toward the end that her topics, phrases and speech patterns were very pedestrian, shallow, and trite.
She's a lawyer, for heaven's sake, trained in the art of communication and concise thinking. Even if I didn't know her personal history, I would be very unimpressed seeing her for the first time. It made me miss Jeane Kirkpatrick in the worse way. :-(
I, too, have never seen the show... and I don't know the panel. My impression is that they are all clueless kneejerk 'feminists' and clinton sycophants (who don't understand that missus clinton is the very antithesis of a feminist)... that is, except, perhaps for the blonde, who apparently wandered into forbidden terrority (Obama) and was quickly cut off at the pass by the big mouth to her right (spatially, not politically) ;).
Banality spiked with madness characterizes the mind of both clintons, BTW. The only difference is that the husband has a semblance of style. Recall what the late David Brinkley said when he thought his mike was off.* Imagine if instead of these women lapdogs, it was Chris Wallace who had at her. There is a reason the clinton machine limits this dud to friendly venues, scripted questions and screened audiences. And there is a reason even those gimmes are kept to a bare minimum. |
* Rumor has it William Jefferson Clinton himself is to recite Honest Abe's lines in this New Year's Eve pageant. Whoever writes these scripts has a natural talent for irony. For some irrepressible reason, one cannot help but think of that costume party in "The Manchurian Candidate,'' complete with Red Queen and Abe Lincoln in stovepipe hat and fake beard. |
thanx, Nancee.
As I posted above, banality spiked with madness characterizes the mind of both clintons. They are dangerously unfit for office. I will be posting on this shortly....
I'll be back at work on the Personality Disorders later today!
Looking forward to your post. Have a great day!
Nancee
bump
thank you, jla :)
Feeling better, I hope....
I am right now, but tomorrow morn will be a different story - when the periodontist uses that water laser to clean my gums!
They'd better give me a good numbing first!
I wish I could remember the exact quote of Richard Burton that alludes to aching gums, but the upshot is that gum pain, [unlike most other pain], is almost pleasurable....
BUMP!!!!
When one lives with Eliz. Taylor I imagine gum pain just might be preferable to enduring her antics.
Mind the guy with the aching mouth
:-)
