Yes, that's right. It comes out as one to me, the Ford Museum and Library, but the Library is in Ann Arbor and the museum is 2 hours away in Grand Rapids.

Rest in peace, my brother.

The reader comments accompanying the Washington Post's obit are appalling. I know it's a pit of vipers but I couldn't resist responding. Here is a copy and a link

http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/comments/display?contentID=AR2006122700528&start=41

The absolutely juvenile snipes being posted only hours after the long, full life of a 93-year-old man, to say nothing of an American president, are the clearest illustration of the complete breakdown in American education, specifically the teaching of history. The posting of conspiracy theories may be intended to function as some sort of twisted self-aggrandizement by the posters, but they are simply more of the same. The political potshots taken at a man who steadied the nation through a turbulent time and then retired with quiet dignity and grace for the remainder of his life, content to let the historians tell the bulk of the story, are typical of the left who wish to turn any intellectual disagreement into a mindless shouting match and an unnecessary game of oneupmanship. The word respect has lost its literal and functional meaning in many segments of our society, so perhaps expecting it from these same segments upon the death of a longtime public servant and a pivotal figure in history is expecting way too much. Still, anonymity is the Internet cowards best friend when trotting out the usual litany of insults and selective readings of history.

I saw a clip of the museum --- to set the proper mood, they have displays of the times, including music. In the clip, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was blaring....LOL.

I have to wonder what the world would be like if Ford, a good and decent man and brother, had not lost to that idiot Carter.

Well, I'm counting on you coming through Grand Rapids on your trip to upper Michigan. We can go to the museum :)

Uhhh ... why couldn't it have been the other living prez to go now, instead of Ford? Would have been better to get that traitor / wolf in sheep clothes / twit outta here!
