The truth of the so-called "victim" continues to trickle out. Of course, no comment on this revelation from Al Sharpton and Michael Bloomberg.

The guy was unarmed. DUI or DWI doesn't justify killing him IMO.

Not surprising that he would be drunk after his bachelor's party, though. And obviously, that is not a good reason to shoot him. Even crashing into a patrol car doesn't seem like a particularly good reason for that.

Alcohol, even in relatively small quanities, has a way of making young males aggressive and belligerent.A very substantial percentage of the violent crimes committed in this country involve one or more persons who are under the influence of something.

He was drunk and intentionally ran over an officer and repeatedly rammed his car into a police van. And he told the club's bouncer that his buddy was going to his car to get a gun and come back and shoot him. Bell and his buddies got what they deserved.

He didn't just ram the police van several times, he also intentionally hit an overcover officer with his car before he rammed the police van.

I wasn't aware he ran over anyone. If someone pulled out a weapon on me in a similar circumstance I would have tried to get away, as most people would.

The undercover cop he hit didn't have a weapon drawn.
The firing started after Bell hit the cop and then repeatedly rammed the car into the police van.
Bell also had a criminal record for dealing drugs and armed robbery and had threatened a bouncer at the club after his buddies were thrown out for harassing a stripper.
It's sad to see how the cop-haters always take the side of the criminals, regardless of the facts of the case.

The unarmed bridegroom killed in a 50-shot police barrage on his wedding day was driving drunk, sources said yesterday. BFD; if driving drunk was a capital offense a lot of lawyers and judges would get executed.

Sending armed undercover cops out to find trouble among drunken strip club patrons is going to lead to mayhem. This isn't a surprise ending.
Acting like a low life should be discouraged more strongly than it is, but being gunned down by out of uniform police without a trial is too much of a swing in the other direction.

I'm not delusional enough to believe that police don't make mistakes. If you want to label that "purty stupid" then so be it.

This guy wasn't just driving drunk.
He intentially hit a cop with his car and then repeatedly rammed a police van filled with officer.
You're being disingenious. But most cop-haters are.

Drunk or sober, cops justified or not......... when I was growing up, I intuitively knew that ramming a cop with my car was probably not a good idea and may in fact, lead to my personal harm.

Just out of curiousity what mistakes did the cops make?
Since the investigation is not done nor made public how do you know already what happened?
