Denver International Airport will remain closed and flights will be suspended through Thursday night and into Friday morning.
DIA hopes to resume flights at noon Friday, December 22.

I had a 4 hour layover at DIA once and it nearly made me homicidal. I can't imagine what those poor folks are putting up with.

It was very cold here on the central coast of California this morning. I think it was down to 60 degrees. I think I'll take a drive out to the Guadalupe dunes and take a stroll on the beach and watch the whales.

La Guardia? I did spend miserable day in the International Terminal at JFK once in the 80's.
I try not to fly much anymore, and if I can't get a Southwest Non-Stop, I don't go.

I've been digging out all morning. The worst thing is all the people who decided to try and use their cars to negotiate four and five foot drifts caused by snow plows. There are many of these Einsteins stuck, blocking the roads now. You'll see some woman sitting stuck in a drift with four or five guys trying to dig her out so they can get where they're going.

I feel like the person in #2. My daughter thought it would be fun to try to dig our car out. Son finally convinced her to give up. While she was out playing, neighbor tried to leave. He got stuck turning the corner, borrowed her shovel. He made it another 5 feet, got stuck again, and left his pickup in the street.
We took the dogs out for a bit to run in the snow. You sink down to the ground nearly and are dragging through 2 feet of snow. Very exhausting. We walked the street back to the house.
