I fail to understand why so many "conservatives" are attacking Chareidi Jews for requiring men and woman to sit separately. This is done for reasons of modesty. In Orthodox synagogues men and women sit in separate sections for this precise reason (usually with a mechitzah separating them so the men cannot see them). Mixed seating is considered a practice of pagan origin.

It is absolutely amazing how religious fundamentalists condemn the fundamentalism of other religions. First Jews demanded liberalism of chr*stians, then chr*stians started demanding liberalism of moslems, and now chr*stians are attacking Torah-true Jews because they are offended by a pre-"enlightenment" understanding of modesty.

And there is nothing more hypocritical than calling someone a "pharisee." The Pharisees (Perushim) were the good guys. The term is always used by religious conservatives to demean conservatives in another religion.
