3 million years into an ice age and we're worried about people warming the planet? If only we could.

The earth normally has no glaciers, in contrast to what we have now.

My hope is that by the time the ice starts moving our way, the urban areas will be big enough to melt it.

Although I can still remember a few years ago when the snow removed and dumped from Chicago didn't melt over the summer.

That was a very small amount of snow compared to what a glacier will bring.
