Gee, the most powerful nation on earth has slipped to 39th place in manufacturing. I'd say that's one heck of a lot of de-industrialization. BTW, what percentage of our manufacturing output has been offshored to places like Red China???

I'm embarrassed for you. 39th place for % of GDP, not output. Our production was $1.79 trillion last year, more than China and Japan, combined.
