I am pretty much resolved that I should not expect much from my 2008 candidate. The best we have (currently) are McCain and Guiliani, none of which really excites me because while I like them, I already know we dont agree on everything.

I agree with you. What troubles me about McCain is his proven history of having problems with his anger. That besides his age gives me pause.
For Giulani the problem I have is the same I have with either Hillary or Obama--no real track record of proven accomplishment. Celebrities in their own right, but not leaders of men.
FWIW I am perplexed as to what to do and whom to support.
