And wasn't there a story a while back about a girl who gave birth to a baby in the bathroom at her prom leaving the baby to die while she went on dancing? Yes, Melissa Drexler, the infamous "Prom Mom." There were at least a couple of similar cases where the child was not killed, either the mother sought help or left the child alive on the floor.
There was a case near me, in Poplar Grove, IL a few years back where the girl delivered in her bedroom in the wee hours of the morning and left the baby on the neighbor's doorstep, but didn't knock, and the baby died of hypothermia. She claimed she thought the baby's cries would wake her neighbors. I seem to remember she issued a statement later telling girls they should be talking to their parents if they get pregnant, or better yet, long before that, so they could avoid being in a spot like hers, where she had the opportunity to screw up so badly.

These are the same people who complain about the killing of baby seals in the artic, but think nothing of indiscrimant abortions.

My God...it's hard to read this kind of thing and not think the abortionists are more evil than head-chopping Islamists. I would also be hard pressed to have to make that decision.

Couldn't agree with you more, murphE. Seems the whole world is becoming "utterly absurd".

Shame on the parents that they forced this on their grandchild. They are Tiller's accomplices. And where was the baby's father?

I believe it was in Delaware - and they got slaps on the wrist because infanticide is accepted in the USA.

Their names were Brian Peterson and Amy Grossberg. They were from Jersey. He got 2 years, she got two and a half. BTW, during that same year, there was a guy in Wisconsin whoi got sentenced to twelve years for killing some cats, and a 13 year old kid was sentenced to death for killing an adult male with a rifle.

Apparently the cats and dogs have a stronger lobby than the babies. I am sure John Kerry loves his animals, but those pesky infants . . . too bad!
